LUMBERTON — The Robeson County chapter of the Black Caucus will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Robeson County Public Library, which is located at 101 Chestnut St.
The meeting will focus on Hurricane Matthew. Jimmy Gilchrist, the caucus president, said that his group’s position is that all hurricane victims should receive 100 percent compensation from the government for their loss.
A discussion will also be held concerning the election of the Robeson County Democratic Party chairman. The chairman will be elected at the party convention that will be held on Aug. 26.
