LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Board of Commissioners will get a look at the county’s audit for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2016, when it meets Monday.
Auditor Wade S. Greene will present the audit. Greene last year presented the commissioners with audit results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, an audit that he said was “clean” and included no findings.
According to the meeting agenda, the commissioners will also:
— Hear a presentation from James Burney, a teacher at Fairmont Middle School. Burney serves as adviser to the school’s Beta Club.
— Be given an update on the county’s 4-H Transportation Committee. The update will be presented by Shea Ann DeJarnette.
— Hear from Mary Beth Locklear about summer camp programs available for the upcoming summer.
— Hear a presentation from Latricia Freeman, director of the United Way of Robeson County.
— Consider appointments to the county Board of Equalization and Review, and the Robeson County Public Library board of trustees.
— Hear a report from Public Works Committee Chairman Lance Herndon.
— Sit as the board of directors for the Robeson County Housing Authority and act on housing authority issues.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Monday in the commissioners room of the county administration building, located on North Elm Street in downtown Lumberton.
