LUMBERTON — North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Robeson County Center, and the Robeson County Master Gardeners will host Brie Arthur, who will present, “The Foodscape Revolution: Finding a Better Way to Make Space for Food and Beauty in Your Garden,” on April 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at the O. P. Owens Agriculture Center at 455 Caton Road.
Arthur, professional horticulturist, propagator, and garden industry communicator, studied landscape design at Purdue University before moving to North Carolina in 2002, according to Mack Johnson, Extension Horticultural Agent with Cooperative Extension.
Arthur is an active member of the J.C. Raulston Arboretum and has joined the PBS TV show “Growing A Greener World” as the Foodscape and Garden Design correspondent.
Johnson said the presentation will be an entertaining and inspiring, yet informative talk that will encompass the latest trends in foodscaping. Those who wish to attend must register by April 5.
