The St. Pauls soccer team got its first win in program history, beating Red Springs 2-0. The Bulldogs broke a 0-0 halftime tie with a goal from Amanda Powell. It came 10 minutes into the second half off a pass from Sabeth Hunt. Hunt scored the game’s second goal 12 minutes later on a free kick from 18 yards out.

Wrestling program seeks $3K by July 1
ST. PAULS — The St. Pauls High School wrestling team is working to raise $3,000 in order to prevent the program from taking a fall. According to Athletic Director Jeff Fipps and school Principal Hoyt McCormick, the cost of the program, including paying for long trips to find competition, has put it at risk.
