Wrestling program seeks $3K by July 1
ST. PAULS — The St. Pauls High School wrestling team is working to raise $3,000 in order to prevent the program from taking a fall.
According to Athletic Director Jeff Fipps and school Principal Hoyt McCormick, the cost of the program, including paying for long trips to find competition, has put it at risk. Wrestling is a non-revenue sport, and is supported by the ticket sales generated by the basketball and football programs.
