St. Pauls was rumbling out of its Winter’s sleep!
The Civil War reenactment brought spectators from all across the area to St. Pauls’ Musselwhite farm to witness the replay of one of the battles between Federal and Confederate troops which occurred during Sherman’s March Through the Carolinas.
The battle was also reenacted Friday for school students and again on Sunday. Many of those who took part in the encampment and battle found their way into town for food and lodging, and some enjoyed the Night Out Saturday.
The Night Out, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, topped off an exciting Saturday and welcomed Spring to SP with cars, music, food, arts and crafts, and good old fashioned family fun.
