A man arriving at his son’s house to take him out to breakfast last Saturday made a grisly find when he entered. He found his son dead on the floor of his home, the victim of a gunshot.
Doyle Kyle James, 24, was dead when his father, Doyle Horace James, arrived at his son’s Stoltz Road residence about 9:40 a.m. on Sat., June 16.
The murder is being investigated by the Robeson County Sheriff’s Department, with Det. James Obershea the lead investigator. An autopsy was conducted at the state medical examiner’s office and officers are awaiting results.
