There was the possibility of rain. There was the certainty of high temperatures and even higher humidity. But still they came.
The July Night Out event literally packed Broad Street from BB&T to west of First Bank. About 200 classic cars and motorcycles lined the street, while vendors used the sidewalks to display and sell handmade arts and crafts, local honey and other items. Side streets and recesses were filled with pony rides and kids’ bouncer rooms and games. The crowd attending and the number of participants in the July Night Out were the largest of the year. The event just keeps getting bigger and better!
The next one is set for the second Saturday of August, the 11th, and will have as its theme Back To School.
Churches, groups and individuals are being asked to donate and distribute school supplies to area students at that celebration of downtown St. Pauls.
Musicians and artists are always welcome and needed!
